[Concurrent] Professor Qiu Yi, Chinese Culture University, Taiwan

Hello everyone, the cultural "treasure hunt" on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, today I came to a very special place that I have longed for for a long time.

This year marks the 85th anniversary of the Southwest Associated University, and the location where I am today is the site of the Southwest Associated University, and that's what the classrooms were in.

[Commentary] On July 15th, the 2022 Yuntai Cultural "Treasure Hunt" event entered Kunming. Professor Qiu Yi of Taiwan Chinese Culture University entered the Yunnan Provincial Museum, the Southwest Associated University Museum and other places to appreciate the unique historical and cultural atmosphere of Yunnan and promote Yuntai Cultural exchanges between the two places will promote the common inheritance of the excellent culture of the Chinese nation.

Today, this stop is also very rewarding, because it is in the (Yunnan) Provincial Museum.

Then I saw the bronze culture, I saw the Buddhist culture, and I actually gained a lot.

And I think the development of Yunnan, as I have done a few times before, basically its (development) leap is not one or two levels, its leap has doubled several times.

But the only constant is that this place is still good for water, beautiful scenery and people.

[Explanation] Speaking of this trip, Qiu Yi said with emotion that "the harvest is full".

In his opinion, this is a cultural journey of "down to earth" and a spiritual journey of "connecting people's hearts".

Chinese culture is very different from Western culture. In Chinese culture, it emphasizes harmony, tolerance, and integration.

It is not like the West, where the West will be self-reliant and it will exclude it, but Chinese culture does not exclude it.

The biggest feature of a region like Yunnan is integration. All ethnic groups will develop in this place, so Chinese culture is a treasure, an inexhaustible treasure.

[Explanation] At the end of the "treasure hunt" tour, Qiu Yi also walked into the former site of the Southwest Associated University, feeling the spirit of "patriotism, democracy, science" and "resoluteness and perseverance" of the Southwest Associated University.

Qiu Yi believes that the spirit of the Southwest Associated University is "precious in the word 'joint'".

Although Tsinghua University, Peking University and Nankai University, which make up the United Nations General Assembly, have different histories and styles of study, in the past eight years, they have always been united as one, sharing difficulties and joy, creating a miracle in the history of Chinese education.

We were also deeply moved by the school motto of the Southwest Associated University, which was determined and determined, and by the three questions of President Zhang Boling.

I believe that all the friends who watched today's program should remember these three sentences: Are you Chinese?

Do you love China?

Do you want China to be better?

I think everyone's answer is the same.
