Erdogan reminded Macron that “a decision has been made to manage the process of exporting Ukrainian grain from a coordination center,” which will be created in Istanbul.

“President Erdogan said that by quickly implementing the plan, it will be possible to provide relief in the context of global food security,” the Turkish leader said.

Earlier, UN Secretary-General António Guterres commented on the grain export talks held in Istanbul.

According to him, the negotiators managed to come to an agreement on many significant aspects of grain exports.

At a meeting on the issue of grain supplies in Istanbul, the Russian side proposed measures for the operation of Ukrainian ports to exclude the supply of weapons.
