“Judging by the way the situation is developing now, it seems to me that new countries will join and there will be even more states that will apply for membership,” TASS quoted her as saying.

She recalled that candidates for membership must meet the requirements in cultural and economic terms.

“We will see how this summit goes in South Africa and how South Africa will consider these applications, how many there will be, which countries will be selected and how priorities will be set,” Anand said.
