It was on February 15 that the police were alerted to a campsite in Luleå after a man was injured with a shelter.

A suspected 56-year-old perpetrator was also arrested on the spot.

The Court of Appeal reduced the sentence

The district court sentenced the man to nine years in prison for, among other things, attempted murder.

But in the Court of Appeal, the heading was changed to aggravated assault and the prison sentence was instead one and a half years.

Does not receive a trial permit

The verdict was appealed to the Supreme Court - but they will not grant leave to appeal.

The Court of Appeal's decision is thus upheld.

"The Supreme Court has reviewed the material.

There has been no reason to grant leave to appeal ", they write in the decision.
