A scene video of a novice American pilot miraculously landing a light plane in danger of crashing on one side of the highway has been released.

On the 12th local time, foreign media such as the Washington Post and CNN reported the story of pilot Vincent Fraser (31), who was flying with his father-in-law in Swain County, North Carolina.

The novice pilot, Fraser, who barely had a total flight time of just over 100 hours, suffered a sudden engine failure while flying at 5,500 feet (about 1.7 km).

At that time, his plane was flying over the national park.

However, he did not panic and tried to start the engine again, but decided that the engine was not in normal condition and chose an emergency landing.

I looked around for an emergency landing, but it was all thick trees, and while I was wandering because I couldn't find a suitable place, Fraser chose 'On the Bridge' as the first landing site.

As he got closer to the bridge, traffic jams on the road and too short to land, Fraser hastily attempted to land in the river flowing next to the bridge.

He did his best, thinking the odds of surviving on an emergency landing were 50/50.

Then he saw the highway in his sight, and Fraser recalled that "fortunately, there was enough altitude left to turn the plane onto the highway at the last minute."

It wasn't a perfect landing site, but every effort was made to control the flight so as not to collide with cars moving in both directions.

In the end, Fraser, who successfully landed safely without any damage, released a video of the scene at the time on social media, and has been receiving a lot of support as it has surpassed 960,000 views.

"My only goal was to keep my father-in-law and people on the ground safe, and I did it," Fraser said in an interview with the media, thanking him for the training he received while serving in the Marines.

However, Fraser said that he wanted to give up flying because of the stress after landing. .

"It was a real surprise that Fraser landed on the freeway," the local sheriff's office said. "No one was hurt, but the worst could have happened."

Meanwhile, it turned out that the cause of the Fraser's emergency landing was a faulty fuel supply to one wing.
