Tallhöjden's senior housing has received new feathered housing. Three hatching hens have moved in and will live with the elderly during the summer. The idea is that the birds should provide one of peace in the accommodation, but also that the elderly should feel responsible.
The hens have been borrowed from Eknäs farm over the summer and live in the courtyard of the nursing home.
The residents take turns being responsible for taking care of the eggs, refilling food and water and keeping the hen house closed at night.
