The alarms about a traffic accident between tram and car arrived just before half past nine on Friday night.

The rescue service and several ambulances rushed to the scene.

At 22:00, at least three people were first taken to hospital by ambulance.

- Three loaded ambulances have left the accident site, said Annelie Silveira, team leader at SOS alarm, then.

Four to hospital

At 22:30, the rescue service must have left the scene, while an ambulance was left.

- Four ambulances have removed the injured now, updates Ola Åström, team leader at SOS alarm. 

According to Göteborgs-Posten, which spoke to rescue personnel on site, no one should be seriously injured.

All injured must have been on the tram.

Ullevigatan was closed during the rescue operation and both the car and the tram will be salvaged.

Tram lines 2, 6 and 8 were affected by the accident and had to run other roads during the rescue operation.
