The National Police

has arrested a 37-year-old Spanish woman for killing her 31-year-old girlfriend this Friday afternoon

in an apartment in the center of the capital, according to the Madrid Police Headquarters.

The events occurred at a home located at number 6 Calle Alfonso VI, in the La Latina neighborhood of the Centro district.

Around 4:40 p.m. this Friday, a woman, the alleged aggressor, called a friend of hers saying that she had killed her partner.

She is she has called the Emergency telephone number 112 in Madrid alerting of the possible crime and giving the address of the place where it had occurred.

When the paramedics from Summa-112 arrived in an advanced life support unit, the alleged criminal opened the door for them.

In one of the rooms of the house they found the victim with five stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.

The woman had lost a lot of blood and she had been dead between two and three hours, according to the first medical observations.

In the same house where they found the body was the alleged murderer.

Agents from the Homicide Group V of the National Police and the Scientific Police have also gone to Calle Alfonso VI.

They verified that the victim was a 31-year-old Spanish born in France and, after interviewing the other girl, her partner, ended up arrested, for an alleged crime of homicide.

Now they investigate the causes and circumstances of the event.

Police sources have indicated that the alleged murderer was very calm in the house and that she did not have to be assisted by doctors.

She had no injuries and next to her they found the alleged knife used for the crime.
