The statement said American citizens are being urged not to enter Ukraine.
At the same time, Americans already in this country are urged to "immediately leave it."
In addition, US citizens were urged to avoid large gatherings and not participate in organized events.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commenting on this warning, said that the US Embassy in Ukraine forgot to add that Washington is transferring American weapons to the Kyiv regime, the use of which provokes the prolongation of the conflict and the death of people.
