(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) How to protect against the superimposed high temperature in summer?

China News Service, Nanchang, July 14 (Wu Pengquan, Xu Mengwen) With the arrival of summer and the repeated outbreak of the new crown pneumonia, how to do a good job in protection under high temperature has become a hot issue of public concern.

Fan Yibing, chief physician of the Nanchang Center for Disease Control and Prevention, gave advice at a press conference on epidemic prevention and control in Nanchang on the 14th.

At present, high temperature weather is generally ushered in all parts of China.

Fan Yibing believes that during the high temperature season, the public should wear masks scientifically, use air conditioners rationally, pay attention to food hygiene, and pay attention to personal hygiene.

Fan Yibing further said that the public should distinguish between the upper and lower sides of masks, and wear them scientifically and in a standardized manner. They should not wear masks because the weather is hot. The cumulative wearing time of each mask should not exceed 8 hours. If the mask is soaked with sweat, it should be replaced in time.

Before using the air conditioner, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the air conditioner wall-mounted filter, the surface of the evaporator, and the air inlet and outlet. It is recommended that the indoor temperature should not be lower than 26 degrees.

When using the air conditioner, you should pay attention to ventilation. Open the windows for ventilation 2 to 3 times a day, each time for no less than 30 minutes, and try not to go to indoor closed public places.

Fan Yibing also said that summer is a season of high incidence of intestinal infectious diseases, and we should pay attention to dietary hygiene in daily life to prevent "diseases from entering the mouth".

To handle raw fish and meat with care, raw and cooked chopping boards should be used separately.

Cooking utensils and countertops for handling imported frozen food should be cleaned and disinfected in a timely manner, tableware should not be mixed, public chopsticks should be used for dishes, and meals should be divided as much as possible.

For epidemic prevention staff, Fan Yibing reminded that it is necessary to scientifically arrange work time, try to avoid working in periods of strong sunlight and high temperature in hot weather, and choose to work in the morning and evening when the temperature is relatively low.

Epidemic prevention and control personnel in high temperature places should take turns to rest and shorten the continuous operation time.

"Necessary ventilation or cooling equipment and heatstroke prevention medicines should be provided." Fan Yibing said that after the epidemic prevention staff finished work, they should not immediately rush into a room with a low temperature to avoid discomfort caused by the excessive temperature difference between indoor and outdoor.

It is necessary to consume salty beverages in moderation to quickly replenish lost electrolytes and reduce the risk of heat stroke.
