This week, temperatures will once again pass the 35 degree mark.

The high temperatures of the moment are a good reason to go see “Thor 4”, “Ducobu” or even “Liar” which are released this Wednesday in cinemas.

Many French people go to the big screen when the thermometer panics to take advantage, among other things, of the air conditioning.

While the heat wave has affected the country since the beginning of the week, the French take refuge in cinemas.

Stéphane and his wife are part of it: they went to see

At the start of the school holidays, Florence, 36, also prefers to spend an afternoon in front of the big screen with her 7-year-old daughter.

"After a small restaurant, here we are at the cinema in the cool for the preview of

", she says, holding her daughter by the hand.

"I couldn't see myself going to the park or to the lodge party in this weather so the cinema is a good compromise to share a moment with your child in the cool."

Heat is the number one aid to cinema attendance according to the numbers.

“Last weekend we made two and a half million. Here we expect attendance to rise to 3 or even 3 and a half million admissions in France”, underlines Eric Marti, general manager of Comscore Movies, at the microphone of Europe 1. The continuation of the heat wave, announced for a period of ten days, should help to improve the figures.
