The article says that the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given Siemens Energy the opportunity to use the exemption from the sanctions for two years.

It is noted that the Canadian side can withdraw this decision at any time.

It is also reported that the turbine for Nord Stream, which previously could not be sent to Germany from Canada due to sanctions, has already been sent to Europe. 

Earlier, Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Robert Habek urged Canada to resolve the issue with the delivery of a turbine for the Nord Stream gas pipeline.

After that, Reuters reported that Canada had decided to return the turbine to Berlin.

Leading expert of the National Energy Security Fund Igor Yushkov, in an interview with the 360 ​​TV channel, commented on the prospects for the operation of the Russian Nord Stream gas pipeline after the return of the German gas turbine by the Canadian authorities.
