The firefighters' ball to get started

Their teaser has already panicked some and some… The firefighters announced at the end of June, in a video full of muscles, the return of their famous ball.

After two years of absence, the evening of July 13 will take place at the Cronenbourg barracks where nearly 4,000 people are expected.

Entrance at the single price of 5 euros.

A pot is planned for the association Theo 2, which allows people with disabilities to discover winter sports.

Rather traditional dance?

It will not be only with the soldiers of fire that it will be possible to move on 13. At “La Grenze”, rue Wodli, the evening will be devoted to traditional dances.

Breton, Alsatian, Auvergne, but also from Europe or North America.

What to see the country, in pairs, in chains, in lines, in circles, etc.

Do not panic for novices, an initiation is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., before the ball hosted by the Ribambal group.

Free price, without registration.

One last ride

Open since June 25, the Saint-Jean fair is coming to an end.

But there is still time, until Sunday, to enjoy the entertainment at Wacken.

On the program: rides, for children and adults who love sensations, candy apple, delicacies, etc.

On July 14, the fair will be exceptionally open from 2 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Plenty of time to stuff yourself with a few churros…

At the theater without paying

This is the cultural touch of this selection.

At 5 p.m. on July 14, the National Theater of Strasbourg (TNS) opens its doors to the curious.

It is possible to attend the rehearsal of

La Ville

for free .

In this play, Paul Claudel questions human organization and the capacity of a group to manage a society.

And after the intellectual effort, a DJ set is organized on the forecourt of the TNS, with the Strasbourgeoise Zhar on the decks.

head in the stars

Impossible to finish without mentioning the fireworks of the Alsatian capital.

As every year, it will be fired from Place de l'Etoile, at 10:30 p.m.

For a quarter of an hour of “beautiful blue, beautiful red” and other cries of wonder!

A popular ball is then accessible a few steps away, Place de la Bourse.

Just to end the National Day on a good note...
