The General Assembly of the United Nations, engaged since June 10 in the allocation of a seat on the Economic and Social Council of the Organization, separated Monday after five ballots without deciding between North Macedonia and Russia.

In total, since the beginning of the election, 17 rounds of voting by secret ballot have been organized among the 193 members of the UN.

Since June, it has fluctuated around 115 votes.
