The DPR said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had no opportunity to counterattack in the Donetsk direction

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a representative of the defense department of the republic.

According to him, the situation in the Donetsk direction is under the control of the allied forces of the DPR, LPR and Russia. 

He said that artillery units are suppressing enemy fire activity every day.

“Ukrainian militant units are completely deprived of the possibility of a counterattack,” the People’s Militia of the DPR said.

Earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the Donetsk People's Republic 38 times over the past day, firing 178 shells.

Prior to this, it was reported that after shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than 7 thousand residents of the DPR were left without electricity.
