A swimming school is offered here for SEK 100, so that all children will have the opportunity to learn to swim.

Despite the fact that Sweden is high in swimming skills compared to other countries, there is still a big job to do according to Swedish swimming sports. The statistics show that as many as 37 percent of children and young people between 4 and 17 years lack swimming skills.

- It's an aftermath of the pandemic.

It has not been natural to swim, but we are heading in the right direction, says Michelle Asprou, who is responsible for swimming skills at Swedish swimming.
