Decision on appeals of mercenaries sentenced to death in the DPR is expected by the end of July

This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic Yuri Syrovatko.

“Now the appeal is being considered against three foreign citizens,” Syrovatko said on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.

His words are quoted by Interfax.

On June 9, a court in the Donetsk People's Republic issued death sentences to British citizens Sean Pinner and Aiden Eslin, as well as Saadun Brahim, who fought on the side of Ukraine.

In early July, it was reported that the Russian embassy redirected to the DPR an appeal from the British authorities regarding mercenaries convicted in the republic.
