7 pillars of the protocol for the return of pilgrims to the country after performing the Hajj

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection has identified 7 precautionary measures that pilgrims must adhere to, after returning from performing the Hajj, to ensure the safety of the pilgrim and his family.

According to the ministry, pilgrims returning from the Holy Land, after completing the Hajj, must abide by a special protocol, which includes 7 necessary procedures, including “obligation to wear a mask, reduce contact with and leave the house in the first 7 days from the date of return, and conduct a laboratory examination at the country’s airports.” Upon arrival, it is noteworthy that this examination is optional, except for suspected cases.

The ministry stressed the necessity of the pilgrim’s commitment to conduct a mandatory laboratory examination on the fourth day after his arrival, or when symptoms appear, as the change of green color in the Al-Hosn application will be linked to a negative result of the PCR examination on the fourth day.

She stressed the need for pilgrims to visit health centers directly in the event of symptoms of influenza and to apply quarantine in case of infection.

According to the approved protocol, the local authorities in each emirate have the right to apply home quarantine as they see fit, and the green traffic system is also required to apply the fortress before leaving the country.
