“In June, prices in stores increased by an average of almost 18% compared to the situation last year,” RIA Novosti quotes the report.

In May, the price increase amounted to almost 17% in annual terms, in April - 22%.

Among the products that have risen in price are vegetable and butter, meat, coffee, tea and other drinks.

The price of bread went up the least in June.

On July 7, Polish farmers organized a mass protest in Warsaw against the policy of the authorities in the field of agriculture and in connection with the growing inflation. 

As reported by the Norwegian Central Bureau of Statistics, prices for goods and services in the kingdom have increased by an average of 6.3% over the past year, the highest since 1988.
