• Trial The alleged murderer of Marta Calvo and two other girls faces the request for reviewable permanent prison

  • Statement The alleged murderer of Marta Calvo denies the facts: "I felt very unhappy, I just wanted to have a good time"

The trial for the Marta Calvo case enters its final stretch.

His alleged murderer and only defendant, Jorge Ignacio Palma, denied last week that he was the author of the death of the young woman who disappeared in

Manuel

(Valencia) in November 2019 - he does maintain that he dismembered her -, as well as having killed

Arliene Ramos

and

Lady Marcela

and having abused another dozen women.

But the prosecutor

Socorro Zaragozá

has warned this Monday that there may still be more victims.

He has done so in the presentation of his final report before the popular jury, to which he has drawn attention to the fact that all the victims of Jorge Ignacio Palma -in provisional prison since he surrendered in 2019- were prostitutes: "They have been a very easy target for the defendant's sexual games".

In fact, he contacted all of them -including Marta Calvo- to contract their sexual services and carry out the so-called "white party", that is, the practice of sex with cocaine.

What the women did not know, and this was corroborated by all the survivors in their testimonies, is that the sex session would end with the defendant, of Colombian origin, forcing them to insert highly pure cocaine into their genitals.

In his statement, Palma assured that the "white party" was consensual and, again, denied having introduced the drug into their vagina and anus.

Now, the prosecutor has reminded the jurors that the defendant has the right to lie in her statement.

"This is a matter of perversion, evil and sadism," described the prosecutor, who has been convinced that "there are more women, but they do not want to come to testify because of what they are."

That is, prostitutes and in a vulnerable situation, which is why the accused would have chosen them precisely for his sexual games.

It was Marta Calvo's message to her mother,

Marisol Burón

, with the location of the house in Palma in the small municipality of Manuel that allowed everything to begin to connect.

In fact, Burón has always been convinced that the defendant does not reveal where her daughter's body is because the bodies of more women would be found.

In all this time, Palma has only said that he threw his remains in garbage bags in containers in

Alzira

and

Silla

, despite the fact that the investigators have never been able to find anything.

Not a clue.

Nor do they believe that he dismembered the body, because a drop of blood was never found either in the house or in the car where he supposedly transported it.

For this reason, the Public Prosecutor's Office has demanded for Palma, also accused of trying to kill seven other women, 120 years in prison.

They are 10 less than what he initially requested, because one of the victims withdrew the accusation from her so as not to have to testify in court.

He attributes, therefore, three crimes of homicide and 10 sexual abuse, in addition to a continued crime of drug trafficking.

The prosecutor, who has described Palma as a "sexual predator", has stressed that the crime of sexual abuse is because the accused annulled the will of the victims through the drug: putting it on their genitals and in the drink that the women drank.

The objective was none other than to "subdue" them.

In the case of the crime of homicide, it is requested with a gender aggravation because it is not exclusive to couple relationships, but also in sexual assaults and when there is a situation of subjugation of the woman by the man.

The private accusations, among which are the mother and father of Marta Calvo, claim for him the reviewable permanent prison.

Jorge Ignacio Palma's lawyer demands his acquittal for being a "consumer of narcotic and toxic substances."
