Lee Jun-seok, the representative of the People's Power, who has been in hiding for the fourth day after the decision of disciplinary action, did not appear at the Supreme Council meeting today (11th).

Floor Leader Kwon Seong-dong, who acted as an acting representative, apologized for putting a burden on state affairs due to internal problems within the party, while repeatedly urging Lee to accept the decision of the Ethics Committee.

The interpretation of Party Leader Lee's suspension of party membership has emerged as a key issue.

In terms of 'vacation', a national convention must be held to elect a new party leader, and if viewed as an 'accident', floor leader Kwon Seong-dong's acting system will continue until he returns after 6 months.

Floor Leader Kwon said that the party's interpretation was that this was an accident, not a vacancy, and that the highest level had concluded that this interpretation was correct.

An early national convention can cause even greater chaos, so it is safe to run the party as an acting agent.

On the other hand, former floor leader Kim Ki-hyeon, who is considered to be the next party leader, urged Lee to resign, while saying, "The system is not enough for an ad-hoc system."

The People's Power, which held a meeting of first-time and middle-aged lawmakers in the morning, will hold a general meeting of members at 3 pm to gather consensus on the party's plan and future course.
