At 04 o'clock on Monday morning, the rescue service received an automatic alarm from Vedeby sports hall.
When they arrived at the site, the gymnasium and changing rooms as well as the corridors were filled with water.
- When I arrived, I was met by maybe 20 centimeters of water, says the caretaker Mahemed Faras Abes.
Someone or some people have used the fire equipment in the corridors and with toilet paper clogged both sinks and floor drains.
A glass pane belonging to one of the premises' doors has also been smashed.
- I'm getting really angry, it's not fun.
They have to set up cameras here because this is not the first time things are breaking down here, says Mahemed Faras Abes.
The police have reported the incident as serious damage.
