Five stations from Stockholm's fire service have been called to the scene and are handling the ongoing fire, which has currently been limited, and the police are on site with several patrols and are helping with roadblocks and evacuation.
The alarm came at 17.47 when the fire had started in an apartment on the ground floor and spread to the apartment above.
- When we arrived on site, the fire had spread to the attic, which we are now burning to minimize the risk of water damage in the apartments.
We will be on site for another 3.5-4 hours, says Göran Norman, management operator at Greater Stockholm's fire service.
The police have evacuated all eight apartments.
No injuries have been reported.
