, his vital prognosis would be engaged.

While he was sitting on a low wall, an individual allegedly stabbed him in the chest and throat before fleeing.

But thanks to the testimonies of people who witnessed the scene, the police managed to find him quickly.

A free act

He is a 44-year-old man from Trappes, who is said to be suffering from psychiatric disorders.

He would already be known to justice for acts of theft and violence, but also for "many offenses for which he could not be prosecuted, given his mental state" explained the Versailles prosecutor's office.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the two men did not know each other and it would therefore be a purely gratuitous act.

The nature of the proceedings will be determined by the state of the victim: attempted homicide or murder if she does not come out of it.

A judicial inquiry could therefore be opened.
