On July 10, local time, the Saudi National Assembly Party (NAAS) announced through social media that its member Manea al-Yami was "assassinated under suspicious circumstances" in Lebanon on July 9.
The Saudi National Assembly Party is mainly formed by exiled Saudis.
Mane Jami, who helped found the National Assembly party in 2020, has personally been living in Lebanon since 2015.
Earlier, the Lebanese Internal Security Forces issued a statement saying that a 42-year-old Saudi man was stabbed to death by two brothers in a family dispute. The statement did not release the names of the victims.
Sources from the Lebanese internal security forces revealed to the media that it was Mane Yami who was stabbed to death.
