Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the fact of the flooding of a pleasure boat in Tatarstan

This was reported by the press service of the department.

“On the fact of the flooding of the pleasure boat registration number AA2209, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1.1 of Art.

263 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of the rules for the movement and operation of inland water transport, negligently causing major damage),” the statement says.

At present investigators are interrogating witnesses and preparing a number of examinations for appointment.

Earlier, the Central Interregional Investigation Department for Transport (MSUT) of the Russian Investigative Committee stated that a pleasure boat sank in Tatarstan.
