In Paris, we are already trying to cool off even before the start of the heat wave

It's not yet the real heat wave in Paris.

But the 27 degrees displayed by the thermometer are more than enough to see many Parisians trying to cool off.

At the Bassin de la Villette, in the 19th arrondissement of the capital, there was an air of vacation on Sunday evening.

Despite the gradual decline of the sun, there were still a lot of people around 8 p.m.

Some like Tom didn't hesitate to put on their swimsuits to take a dip in the water.

"Frankly, it feels good. It's sunny, it's hot, we're having fun. It's the good life", savors this young man.

"A Little Taste" 

For his part, Thomas came with his sunscreen, his cap and his beach towel.

He lives in the Paris region and, to avoid the heat, he came with his son for the first time.

"I didn't think I would have this green setting in Paris. And this is the first time I've done it with the children. On the program, we did a bit of swimming with my son in the large pool. The pedalo, it's true that it's a bit exotic in the middle of Paris like that. It's quite nice", smiles this father.

If the tourists are present in number, many Parisian workers also benefit from it.

Adlène, for example, will have to wait until August to go on vacation.

In the meantime, he comes to take some fresh air at the Bassin de la Villette.

"I'm working at the moment, I'm a caterer and it's a little taste. I have a little time, so before the holidays, it's excellent. It prepares my skin to tan a little bit more", he noticed.

The thermometer is not going to stop there and the temperatures are even expected to be scorching next week.

Therefore, many intend to return in the coming days and enjoy this little island of freshness.
