A Saudi was killed by his two brothers in the suburbs of Beirut... and the ambassador appreciates the security efforts

The Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, tweeted, via his Twitter account, "I highly appreciate the efforts of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces, with its personnel and all its leadership, to uncover the facts and bring the perpetrators to justice in the murder of the betrayed Saudi citizen who was killed in the southern suburbs of Beirut."

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces in Lebanon said in a media statement that at around 20:30 on 9/7/ 2022, in the Sfeir locality near Al-Raya stadium, the murder of the slain (M.M., born in 1980, a Saudi national) was stabbed by a knife.

She added that as a result of the follow-up and investigations carried out by the specialized sectors in the Al-Dahiya Company of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, it was found that the two brothers of the murdered committed the crime for family and personal reasons, and then fled to an unknown destination. They are of Saudi nationality: (A. M.), born in 1976, and (H.) m) born in 1990.

She indicated that the secret sectors intensified their investigations to determine their whereabouts, and on 7/10/2022 information was available about their presence in one of the apartments in the Sfeir locality.

Immediately, their whereabouts were raided by a patrol from the Burj Al-Barajneh faction with the support of a joint force from the Al-Dahiya Brigade sectors, and they were arrested, and the crime instrument was seized.

She stated that by interrogating them, they confessed that they had killed their brother for family reasons.

The arrested and arrested persons were referred to the concerned authority, and the investigation is under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
