For three days, until Saturday, car owners can legally participate in Burnout in front of an audience.

A Burnout is when the car's rear wheel spins while the car is stationary.

The name comes from spinning the engine and burning the tires.

Over the years, no incidents have occurred, other than that cars broke down, says Summer Meets organizer Klas Brink.

On-site manager at the Burnout event at Hälla tells more about safety during the event:

- No car should be able to reach the audience, therefore we have large concrete blocks and the iron fence as protection, says Christer Jonsson and continues:

- Most often something has happened to the engine and sometimes it is a car that has reached the railings with the rear end of the car a little carefully, but there has only been small cosmetic damage to the cars.

For four years Jonathan Lindgren has Burnat and there is a lot to think about:

- Everything can really go wrong.

If you are very unlucky, the engine can explode.

So it is important to keep track of the sensor and temperature is correct.

It's tires you burn, so if you are unlucky, it can also start to burn, he says.

Felix Davidsson, eight years old, and Luke Davidsson, five years old, saw Burna cars for the first time.

When the sound from the cars thundered and the smell of smoke spread behind the crowd fence, it became a bit much at one point:

- I had to duck, says Luke Davidsson.
