During the year, Ivo conducts a national inspection of all regions' hospital care with a focus on care places and staffing.

In Stockholm, Ivo has visited Danderyd Hospital and Södersjukhuset.

At both hospitals, there are too few care places to meet the actual need, according to Ivo.

Danderyd Hospital writes in a comment that it welcomes Ivo's review and that the hospital works with continuous improvements of the emergency flow to improve patient safety.

- We prioritize measures to minimize patient safety risks, that waiting times are kept as short as possible and that the working environment for our employees should be good, says Åsa Hammar, chief physician at Danderyd Hospital.
