Two men in their late teens are said to have beaten the man and forced their clothes, mobile phone and his car with the help of a scoundrel.
When police arrived at the scene, the man was awake and talkative but was taken to hospital for control.
Several police patrols were involved in the case and at 03:00 the car was discovered on the E4 in Jönköping at the height of Rosenlund.
Police then tried to stop the car but to no avail.
The hunt continued to Råslätt and there the journey ended when the police pulled over the car.
