Günter Schachermayr is a Vespa lover and a specialist in wacky records.

As part of his latest challenge, this Austrian has transformed his famous favorite Italian scooter to run it on rails.

With a new world record in sight, says

Caradisiac

this Wednesday.

For this, the mad inventor added a third wheel to his Vespa so that it remained stable on the railway track.

He then considered performing his feat on conventional train tracks but this was prohibited for safety reasons.

The 44-year-old man then fell back on the rail line of an amusement park in Vienna (Austria).

A festival of inventiveness

It was therefore on the Liliputbhan that Günter Schachermayr broke the world record for the longest running time on rails with a motorized two-wheeler without stopping.

He covered the 3.9 km of this tourist rail circuit in 10 minutes and 25 seconds.

This Austrian is not his first eccentricity on the handlebars of his Vespa.

As revealed

by Le Repaire des Motards

, he would have already made him fly, descend a tower vertically, zip line while performing a Rubik's Cube or even hurtle down a hill on the rear wheel, holding in his mouth a spoon in which there was an egg.
