The head of the National Bank of Poland announced the possibility of a technical recession

He stated this during a press conference. 

“In Poland, we do not expect a recession, a technical recession is possible, GDP may have negative growth in two quarters,” RIA Novosti quotes him. 

Glapiński added that if inflation rises, the monetary policy council intends to raise interest rates.

Earlier, Polish farmers organized a mass protest in Warsaw against the policy of the authorities in the field of agriculture and in connection with the growing inflation.
