According to RIA Novosti, he said this at a briefing on the results of the analysis of documents on the military biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine.

According to him, the relevant data contains a report on the activities in Ukraine of the US military threat reduction agency for the period from 2005 to 2016.

This document was obtained by the Russian side during a special operation.

“The report substantiates the expediency of continuing work in the interests of the Pentagon, the costs of which since 2005 have exceeded $250 million,” he said.

Kirillov added that in the appendix to the document there are ambiguous comments regarding the sponsors and executors of the program, which have nothing to do with biosafety issues.

For example, the Soros Foundation is mentioned with the note "contributed to the development of an open and democratic society."

“This once again confirms that the official activities of the Pentagon in Ukraine are just a front for illegal military biological research,” he stressed.

Earlier, Kirillov said that during the special operation in Ukraine, documents were obtained about the plans of the United States and Ukraine to conduct research on the Ebola virus in Odessa.
