The price of villas is falling throughout the country, according to the latest statistics from Brokerage Statistics.

And Sörmland is no exception.

- The decline is clear in all areas, says Per-Arne Sandegren, head of analysis at Swedish Brokerage Statistics to the news agency TT.

Price fall according to analysts

In recent months, Swedish housing prices have slowed down, but now it is a question of a fall in prices, Sandegren states.

But in Strängnäs municipality, house prices increased during both May and June.

And there is also a rise in prices for condominiums.

In the clip, you hear the broker Ludwig Gullberg in Strängnäs about what the explanation may be.

Up for holiday homes

Prices of holiday homes are falling in Strängnäs, however, but this trend is not visible in Sörmland as a whole, where prices of holiday homes rose slightly compared with May.
