Near the English Channel and the northern borders, as well as in the Pyrenees and the Alps, after some local gloom at the start of the day, clouds will appear at times in the sky.

In the south of Aquitaine and the south-west of Midi-Pyrénées, the greyness will be more compact and widespread in the early morning, but it will dissipate quickly enough to make way for the sun in the morning.

The sun will largely impose itself on Friday over the whole country with dry weather which will settle in France, according to forecasts from Météo-France.

However, near the English Channel and the northern borders, as well as over the Pyrenees and the Alps, after some local gloom at the start of the day, clouds will appear at times in the sky.

On the other hand, in the south of Aquitaine and the south-west of Midi-Pyrénées, the greyness will be more compact and widespread in the early morning, but it will dissipate quickly enough to make way for the sun in the morning.

The mistral and the tramontane will drop a notch, they will still go from 70 to 80 km/h in gusts at the start of the day, then will blow up to 60 to 70 km/h in the afternoon.

Up to 32 to 37 degrees around the Mediterranean

Minimum temperatures will range from 9 to 14 degrees in general in the north, from 13 to 18 degrees in the south, 17 to 23 degrees near the Mediterranean.

The maximums will be up in the north of the country, they will be between 21 and 25 degrees at the edge of the Channel, they will go from 24 to 29 degrees in the northeast quarter of the country and towards the Basque Country, they will go up to 27 to 32 degrees elsewhere, up to 32 to 37 degrees around the Mediterranean.
