“The military biological developments of the United States, which they are conducting around the world, must be stopped and declassified,” Volodin wrote on Telegram, commenting on the statement by Jeffrey Sachs, chairman of the coronavirus commission of The Lancet medical journal, that the virus was created in the laboratory.
It was also reported that Sachs admitted that "American biotechnology was used in the creation of the virus."
Volodin added that the United States is obliged to compensate for the losses incurred to all countries that have suffered from the pandemic.
Earlier, the US intelligence community published declassified excerpts from a report to President Joe Biden on the origin of the coronavirus.
