Forget online tutorials.

A Super Nintendo fan has collected all of the console's old game manuals released in the West, reports BFMTV.

Responding to the nickname of Peebs, this somewhat obsessive fan gathered his findings on a website called “SNES Manual Archive”.

He only needed one manual to complete his collection, that of the football game “90 Minutes European Prime Goal”.

But on July 1, he announced that he had finally recovered it to store it with the 723 other booklets he had already scanned.

"I never thought we'd finish this SNES manuals project," Peebs acknowledged on Twitter, thanking those who helped out.

Still 47 games to complete

This quest is part of a challenge.

The player, who has a Twitch channel, wanted to finish all the games on the Nintendo console.

To do this, he needed to know the specific key combinations.

Information contained in manuals.

This crazy project allowed him to get his hands on marvels like the “Sküljagger” manual (1992), which offers 75 out of 80 pages dedicated to following an adventure in seven chapters.

For its part, "Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls (1994)" delivers its instructions in the form of a comic strip.

To compose his collection, Peebs was able to count on a large number of contributors from all over the world.

Nearly 100 people sent him manuals.

His challenge is not completely fulfilled: he still has 47 games to complete...
