“Now we are giving the status of a combat veteran to this category of citizens who perform tasks on the territory of Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR.

He noted that this category may include doctors, builders.

Earlier, the State Duma adopted in the third reading a law on granting civilians involved in the tasks of a special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, the status of a combat veteran.
