Pilots from both countries' air forces will perform a variety of exercises together over the three days.

Sweden participates with its Jas 39 Gripen and Great Britain with its fighter Typhoon.

The exercises take place within the framework of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), which is led by the United Kingdom.

Several JEF exercises are planned to be carried out in Sweden and Finland during the summer, due to the countries applying for membership in NATO.

- It feels good, we have a lot to learn from them and hopefully they have a lot to learn from us, says Patrik, one of the fighter pilots who participate in the exercise.
