“The current norm already presupposes the application of tax maneuver norms for the radio-electronic industry.

However, it was very problematic to use it, since only organizations that receive 90% of their income from the design and development of an electronic component base

(

ECB) and radio-electronic products fall under the benefit, ”explained the expert.

As Legostaeva added, the regulator, together with industry consortiums, has done a lot of work to create changes that would allow “to take into account the specifics of the industry as much as possible.”

“The amendments will make it possible to increase the number of companies applying the tax maneuver, as the list of types of activities that allow applying the exemption has been expanded, and the threshold for income from them has been reduced to 70%.

Benefits will apply only to products that will be included in the list approved by the government, but we are sure that the key positions of computer technology will definitely be included in it, ”said the specialist.

She stressed that another condition would be the inclusion of the company in the register of organizations operating in the field of radio-electronic industry.

“Computer companies are very much looking forward to the entry into force of the law, since the new support measure will allow organizations to free up scarce working capital and direct them to the development of new products, the creation of additional jobs and the expansion of production capacity,” the RT interlocutor concluded.

Earlier it was reported that the State Duma adopted a law containing tax support measures to stimulate the development of the Russian IT industry.
