Park Ji-hyeon, former chairman of the platoon, asserted that she had the right to run for office at the August national convention as she was elected as the interim party leader by an 84.4 percent vote at the Central Committee last April.

The leadership, who made the decision not to run, urged them to properly interpret the vote.

Former Chairman Park, who did not bend his will to register as a candidate for the party's representative, countered that it would be difficult to reverse it.

[Woo Sang-ho / Democratic Party Vice Chairman: It is a little difficult to understand that you have the right to be elected despite the decision not to admit exceptions...

Conflicts also erupted within the party over the changes to the convention rules.

Ahn Gyu-baek, chairman of the Chun Jun, resigned as the non-captain did not accept the proposal of the National Convention Preparatory Committee to introduce a public opinion poll in the primary primary of the party.

In addition, the non-captainer decided that one out of two votes in the main election should be voted only for candidates by region, such as the metropolitan area and Yeonghonam, and 39 pro-Lee Jae-myung-gye members protested collectively, saying that it was a move to side with the candidates by region and to try to test Lee Jae-myung.

Rep. Jae-myung Lee also expressed dissatisfaction on social media in a detour, saying that it should be cut off from the politics of gangs that are shared amongst the incumbents, and a protest rally was held in front of the company.

On the other hand, pro-moon lawmaker Shin Dong-geun said on SNS, "We must follow the decision of the non-captain."

The Democratic Party will hold a party committee meeting today (the 6th) to discuss the rule change agenda.
