He denied the facts on the stand.

Last week, the court in Les Sables d'Olonne sentenced a 33-year-old man of Algerian origin for the kidnapping of two young women in Les Sables-d'Olonne (Vendée), according to

Le Journal des Sables

.

On May 15, two young women, both aged 20, filed a complaint.

They explain that they were sequestered in this man's truck the day before in the early morning when they were leaving a party in a night establishment in Sables-d'Olonne.

The individual, who would have been turned away from the nightclub because he had drunk too much, offered that evening to the two women to bring them back.

The latter accepted.

But a few minutes later, when he stopped at his house for beers, he became very aggressive and tried to stop the young girls from leaving his truck.

The man disputed all of the facts.

He was nevertheless sentenced to one year in prison with continued detention.

As the Sablais weekly specifies, when he has served his sentence, the individual will be expelled to his country of origin with a ban on residence in France for a period of ten years.
