Al Tayer pointed out that the total value of the Authority's investments in electricity transmission projects between 2021 and 2024 amounts to 10 billion dirhams;

The Executive Vice President of the Energy Transmission Sector at DEWA, ​​Eng. Strong, adherence to the highest international standards in engineering and operation, in addition to the use of smart grid technologies that provide advanced features that include automatic decision-making and interoperability in the electricity and water grid, deployment of sensors and smart applications to regulate the operations of transmission and distribution networks, and enhanced real-time monitoring and control This made the practices adopted by the authority a standard for service institutions around the world.

It is noteworthy that the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) obtained the ISO 55001:2014 certificate for the asset management system after being subjected to external audits by an international accreditation body, to become the first service organization in the world to obtain accreditation for integrated operations in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity and water.
