, the traffic light coalition recently deleted paragraph 219a from the criminal code.

The dance interlude was, of course, only the overture to a whole suite of biopolitical decisions.

Federal Family Minister Paus has already made a decision

There is nothing reprehensible about this as long as the legislature knows that it is bound by the stipulation of the Federal Constitutional Court that a purely time-limited solution cannot be reconciled with the state's obligation to protect the right to life of the unborn child.

But for many members of parliament, the resulting advisory regulation is already a grievance, since in their eyes it unreasonably restricts women's right to self-determination.

The abolition of Paragraph 219a of the Criminal Code will therefore not be allowed to remain - this is what the new Federal Minister for Family Affairs Paus (Greens) has already decided.

And it would be laughable if the experts who would advise the federal government to also delete paragraph 218 from the penal code could not soon be found.
