This is stated in a statement published on the website of the government of the country.
“The British government tomorrow (July 5, 2022) will introduce new economic, trade and transport sanctions against Belarus,” the message says.
It is noted that, in particular, the British side will impose a ban on the import of Belarusian iron and steel, as well as a ban on the export of advanced technology components to Belarus, including those used in quantum computers.
Earlier, the UK, as part of new sanctions, banned the use of pounds sterling and banknotes of EU countries in Russia.
