Hessa Buhumaid: Announcing the mechanisms for applying and disbursing aid and allowances today

The work teams in "Community Development" are implementing the directives of the President of the State

Hessa Buhumaid: "The specialized teams are currently working on developing mechanisms and plans to ensure that the bonuses reach the beneficiaries."

The Minister of Community Development, Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, praised the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, to restructure the program to support low-income people, and raise its budget from 14 billion to 28 billion dirhams.

She confirmed the announcement of more details about the mechanisms for applying and disbursing social assistance and allowances today, Tuesday.

Buhumaid said that the work teams in the ministry are working to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, urgently, so that support is provided to those who deserve it across the country, in coordination with local authorities related to social affairs, to ensure speed and accuracy of implementation.

She added, "Mechanisms and plans are currently being developed to ensure that the approved bonuses reach the beneficiaries in various categories," stressing that "the program is an important pivotal step in the social work sector, confirming the UAE's intention to continue launching major government initiatives with the aim of enhancing the quality of life." Citizens of the country, especially among the low-income groups, which reflects the keenness of the UAE leadership to provide a decent life for families with low incomes,” noting that “the leadership’s directives translate the UAE’s continuous efforts to provide all forms of empowerment to the people of the country.”
