Syrian Ambassador to Russia: Turkey and the West could send militants to Ukraine

“We are not surprised that the United States, the West and Turkey are transporting militants from the terrorist organizations ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra* from Idlib to Ukraine, since these groups, although they are called differently, are tools used by the West against peaceful peoples .

In this way, they turn Ukraine into a hub for terrorists and mercenaries, without realizing the negative consequences that such a policy would entail for world security, ”Haddad said.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that the United States was recruiting militants from Syria, including terrorists of the banned Islamic State*, to participate in the battles in Ukraine.
