The Ukrainian city of Sloviansk lies just over 70 kilometers west of Lysychansk, the city that Russian forces finally managed to take after weeks of fierce fighting in the Donbass.

Sloviansk, which is a few kilometers from the front line, experienced its biggest series of bombardments for some time on Sunday July 3.

The city has been without water for more than a month, precisely since the pumping and filtration systems for drinking water were damaged by the fighting.

Their repair not being possible, since they are located in an active combat zone, it is the firefighters of the city who supply as best they can, in dangerous conditions, inhabitants exhausted by the war and who now lack everything.
