They will be judged from this Monday.
Two Lyonnais aged 39 and 46 appear before the Rhône Assize Court for repeated rape with aggravating circumstances, five years after the facts.
The trial will be held behind closed doors at the request of the victims.
Two young women accuse them of having raped them under the threat of a scissor on the night of November 4, 2017 in a shisha bar located in the 9th arrondissement, as well as of having forced them to drink alcohol and consume cocaine.
The victims remained captive for ten hours.
Then they managed to contact a friend who notified the police.
At the time of the arrest, the two defendants were under the influence of cocaine and alcohol.
The trial had already been postponed several times, first because of heart problems of one of the defendants, then because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The hearing is scheduled to last until July 7.
